Acclaimed actress Rinko Kikuchi brings profound sensitivity and endearing charm to the role of Haru, deftly balancing the weight of a mourning widow with the spark of newfound desire. Josef Kubota Wladyka is a New York–based film and television director. His acclaimed features Catch the Fair One and Manos Sucias earned multiple Film Independent Spirit Award nominations. He has directed episodes of Narcos, One Piece, and Tokyo Vice. Born to Japanese and Polish parents, he grew up near Washington, D.C., and holds an MFA in film from NYU.
